This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the rehabilitation process of drug abusers at the Tanah Merah Rehabilitation Center in Samarinda using a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 10 informants undergoing stable treatment/rehabilitation. Using SWOT analysis, the study found that the primary strength in rehabilitation is family support, while weaknesses include difficulty resisting peer pressure, concentration issues, memory problems, and difficulty controlling emotions. Opportunities for informants include entrepreneurship, returning to previous jobs, securing new employment, and continuing education. However, the greatest threat they face is the social environment, which may encourage a relapse into addictive behaviors. This study recommends a family- and community-based rehabilitation strategy, along with post-rehabilitation mentoring programs to enhance recovery sustainability.
