URGENSI KETERSEDIAAN FASILITAS SANITASI YANG LAYAK BAGI WANITA PADA TEMPAT PENGUNGSIAN KORBAN BENCANA ALAM

Kebutuhan akan sanitasi pada wanita berbeda dengan pria karena perbedaan kondisi fisik dan sistem reproduksi di antara keduanya. Hal paling umum yang menunjukkan perbedaan tersebut ialah, wanita mengalami menstruasi setiap bulannya. Pemenuhan kebutuhan sanitasi khusus bagi wanita seringkali terabaikan, terutama pada kondisi-kondisi darurat seperti di tempat pengungsian korban bencana alam. Situasi bencana alam yang terkadang tak dapat diprediksimembuat proses penanggulangan menjadi lebih kompleks, terlebih lagi dengan adanya keterbatasan baik dari segi sumber daya alam, sumber daya manusia, hingga keterbatasan waktu. Namun, terlepas dari adanya keterbatasan tersebut, kebutuhan pengungsi harus tetap terpenuhi karena berkaitan erat dengan pelaksanaan hak asasi manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur atau studi kepustakaan dengan teknik pengumpulandata adalah kajian literatur. Literatur yang penulis gunakan berupa artikel, jurnal, dokumen, serta buku yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian sebanyak 17 buah literatur. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis ketersediaan fasilitas sanitasi pada pengungsi wanita korban bencana alam.
