Pola Asuh Orang Tua Penerima Manfaat Program PKH di Desa Ganeas Kecamatan Ganeas Kabupaten Sumedang

The Family Hope Program (PKH) was initiated as part of efforts to enhance the capacity
of poor families. This research aims to study and understand the parenting patterns of
parents who are beneficiaries of the PKH program in Ganeas Village and their
application, focusing on four aspects: 1) parenting styles, 2) the application of warmth
3) the application of control, and 4) the application of communication. The research
approach utilized in this study is a descriptive quantitative method. The sampling in this
research was determined using a random sampling technique. The study's informants
consisted of 58 individuals, all of whom were parents benefiting from the PKH program.
Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observation, and documentation
studies, with measurement tools using a rating scale. The findings indicate that
respondents apply all three parenting styles with high scores, with the democratic
parenting style being the most commonly used. As for the aspects of parenting warmth,
control, and communication the results show that respondents apply all three aspects
with high scores. This is an impact of their participation in the Family Capacity Building
Meetings (P2K2), which are routinely conducted by PKH facilitators
