Implementasi Program Pemberdayaan Disabilitas Dalam Program Ketahanan Pangan Kelompok Tani Disabilitas Tumbuh Mandiri Di Human Initiative Jawa Barat

Abstract

The problem of disability is a complex problem because the conditions faced by people with disabilities can influence other aspects of the lives of people with disabilities, where this can also trigger obstacles for people with disabilities in carrying out their active roles in society. The existence of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) is one of the parties whose role is expected to play in empowerment so that they can help people with disabilities to solve the problems they face and become independent. This article was written using a qualitative research approach in this article being primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from observation and in-depth interviews. Secondary data is obtained from supporting sources such as internet research, literature studies, and documentation studies that are relevant to the research topic. The purpose of this article is to describe the implementation of the food security program for groups of farmers with disabilities who can grow independently at the Human Initiative in West Java. From the research results, it is known that implementation has been carried out on two intervention focuses, namely skills and skills and strengthening facilities and infrastructure. Apart from that, monitoring activities are also carried out through facilitators while evaluation activities have not been carried out. Problems were also found such as the lack of success of the interventions provided because they were not in accordance with needs so that every intervention carried out needed to prioritize the principle of participation.
